“Why do we organize such a workshop?”

With Horizon 2020 the European Commission has changed the traditional approach concerning to R&D and innovation Framework Programs. Horizon 2020 is particularly focused on the transfer of research and development activities into innovative products (processes or services) available on the market

Based on this new approach, the European Commission has created two new funding schemes:

 ·         Instrument for SMEs (I4SME)

 ·         Fast Track to Innovation (FTI)

Both programmes are focused on activities aiming to boost market entry of innovative products such as: scaling, industrialization, commercial piloting, demonstration activities...

The workshop and next editions

The workshop was an informative event combined with an initial assessment of attendees’ R&D projects potential within the mentioned funding schemes.

The workshop aimed to:

  1. Indentify opportunities for enterprises with potential, considering their needs and interests.
  2. Establish monitoring activities for such opportunities, i.e.: in-depth ideas assessment, meetings, action plans, ...

On the path to successfully fulfilling such goals, VEA GLOBAL selected a reduced audience with high potential in the framework of the funding programmes to be addressed during the workshop.

As a result of the satisfaction demonstrated by the attendees, VEA GLOBAL will organize additional workshop editions.
